Sherry Scott

Sherry Scott age 67 passed away Monday May 6, 2024, in the University of Toledo Medical Center. Sherry was born in Norwalk, CA on January 31, 1957, to Thomas and Mary Joanne (Nichols) Gemkow. She has been employed in retail sales for many years and has also been a tax preparer. Sherry loved to sew, knit, crochet, and watch drama and gossip on reality TV. She was a lifelong collector of bells. Her biggest love was spending time with her family. Sherry was preceded in death by her husband Robert (Bob) Scott, parents, and her sister Louise Becker. Sherry is survived by her children Tann (Elizabeth) Martens Raymond (Becky) Martens, and Stacy (Matt) Thomas, 7 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and siblings Jerrie Cruz, James Campbell, and Teresa Nelson. There will be a celebration of life for Sherry on Saturday May 18, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. in the Martens home 6904 Wild River Run Holland, Ohio. This will be an informal gathering, all are welcome to attend.
