Rose C. Kujda, “Boope”, age 97 passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg. She was born January 21, 1921, in Toledo, Ohio. She was born to Theodore and Salome (Kwiatkowski) Bieniek. She married Louis Kujda on April 29, 1943, in Chicago. Rose worked as a laborer at The DeVilbiss Company where she retired. Rose always enjoyed playing Bingo and going to the casino. However, what she truly cherished was spending time with her family. Whether it be playing cards with her brothers and sisters, or chatting with everyone at family functions, like the family Christmas eve party. Rose was especially proud of her Polish Heritage and would listen to Polish music on Sundays and go to the Lagrange Street Polish Festival. Rose was a long time parishioner of St. Hedwig and St. Adalbert parish.
Left to honor Rose and remember her love, are Rose’s two children, Frederick (Linda) Kujda of Texas and Kathleen Relford of Florida; three grandchildren, Renee Relford, Jason (Amanda) Kujda and Jennifer Kujda; nine beautiful great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren along with her sister, Mary Jane Kubicki; brothers, Jerome Bieniek, James (Patricia) Bieniek, and family friend, Bob Gorajewski. Rose was preceded in death by her parents, husband Louis Kujda, brothers Daniel and Richard Bieniek, sisters Virginia Zientek, Florence Krasniewski and Louise Bieniek and grandson Jamie Relford.
Services will be held at a later date. The Kujda family would like to extend our gratitude to all the staff at Hospice of Perrysburg, specifically Danielle, Christy, Thelma, Mary and Diana for home care.
