Roger was born on October 2nd, 1965, to Bob and Virginia in Albuquerque, NM. He attended Sandia Elementary & graduated from Clovis High School in (1983) where he was also a member of the Clovis High Wildcat Marching Band. He would then attend Texas Tech where he was an active participant with the Texas Tech Saddle Tramps (1984-1986). He went on to obtain a bachelor in electrical engineering technology at DeVry University (1989) and later obtained an MBA from the University of Phoenix. After graduating from DeVry, Roger started work at Applied Materials (1989), where he would work for the next 20 years as an Operations Manager. From there, he would move on to work at First Solar (2009) for 11 years as their Manufacturing Engineering Manager. He would leave First Solar and start work for Trucent (2020), working as their Director of Engineering. He would then go on to start work at Von Ardenne (2022), working as their Director of Service, Engineering, and Project Manager. Roger always found serenity in mowing and maintaining the yards of the houses he lived in over the years. Throughout his life, Roger would spend many summers going out to Phillipsburg, Kansas to help his Uncle Jim and Aunt Cindy with their harvest. He also enjoyed many projects and activities at his home and shared his joy in these ventures with his sons, his friends, and his brother. He served as the Band Booster President for the Anthony Wayne Marching Band and volunteered for many of the events the band arranged. Classic cars were also a passion he had, building a pole barn not only to restore the old cars he owned but to hold the pontoon and John Deere tractor he enjoyed with family and friends. Never yielding to his faith in God, Roger remained a strong Christian all his life.

Roger was a loving father to his sons, a trusted confidant to his friends, a loyal and caring family man, and a hardworking man through and through. The impact he made in the lives of many around him was profound. He will be greatly missed by those who were fortunate enough to call him their friend and family.
