Rebecca “Becky” Vazquez

Rebecca “Becky” Vazquez, age 23 of Toledo died unexpectedly, Wednesday August 4, 2021. Rebecca was born January 30, 1998 in Toledo to Enrique Castillo Rodriguez and Mariela Vazquez Hernandez. She attended Lagrange Elementary, Leverette Jr. High and Riverside Schools, graduated from Woodward High School in 2016 and attended Owens Community College. Becky previously was a hostess at El Vaquero restaurant, a program assistant at YMCA’s 21st Century Program, a factory worker at Norplas Industries and currently worked as a bartender at Twin Peaks in Toledo. She loved her children, was proud of her red Chevy Silverado Pickup and enjoyed dressing up to look her best. Determined to live life to the fullest, she was not afraid to spend her hard-earned money traveling to places she wanted to go or buying things that made her happy.

Surviving are her beloved children, Ariel Angel Vazquez and Delani Denver Sanchez, her parents Mariela and Enrique, sister, Vanessa Vazquez, brother, Luis Castillo, grandmothers, Amelia Hernandez Martinez and Apolonia Rodriguez Reyna, special cousins, Mariela and Jonas Padron Vazquez along with her nephews and niece, John and Dalaysa Frison and Amado Castillo. Also surviving are a host of uncles, aunts and cousins in the U.S. and Mexico. Preceding her in death were her grandfathers, Jose Abel Vazquez Rodriguez and Vidal Castillo Maldonado and her aunt Ma. Sagrario Vazquez Hernandez.
