Michael Frank Bevan

Michael Frank Bevan, 63, of Toledo, Ohio passed away peacefully in his home on Tuesday, July 30, 2024, surrounded by his loving family, after battling pancreatic cancer. Mike was a beloved father, son, brother, uncle, and friend to many. Born August 25, 1960, in London, Ontario Canada to Donald & MaryLou (Wilson) Bevan, Mike's family emigrated to Toledo in 1967. In his youth, he enjoyed baseball, football, swimming and ice skating, and spent his summer vacations at his grandparents home in Barrie, Ontario Canada, spending countless days at Johnson's Beach. After graduating from Start High School, where he was on the wrestling team and played football, Mike joined and proudly served in the United States Air Force. He later went onto study culinary arts and ultimately became a chef. Mike enjoyed bike riding with his daughters, golfing with family and friends, concerts, family get-togethers, traveling, and his dog Cooper. He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, and sister, Brenda Balazs. He is survived by his children Michael Jr., Tiffany (Nathan), Miranda Grace (RJ), Samantha (McKade) Bevan and sisters Michelle (Bill) Jacobsen, and Jennifer (Ron) Lienard. Mike is also survived by Marcia Cline, his brother-in-law, Rick Balazs, along with 9 nieces and nephews, and 10 great nieces and nephews.

There will be a Celebration of Life with a flag ceremony to honor Mike’s memory on Saturday August 17, 2024, at Tiffany and Nathan’s home at 12:00 PM.
