Lieselotte “Lotti” Sielicki, age 92, of Perrysburg, Ohio passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 29, 2021 in Hospice of Northwest Ohio. She was born November 21, 1928 in Berlin, Germany to Paul and Katharine (Boss) Madeja. She completed 7th grade, but, was unable to finish her formal education due to WWII. They were both very involved in the German American Festival Society in Oregon, Ohio, enjoying music and dancing together with the great company of their many friends. Together, they successfully ran the Sidewalk Café at the German American Festival from 1980 to 2000. Together Lotti and Aleks traveled the world, visiting Europe many times and taking 20 cruises to various destinations, making friends wherever they went. Lotti was also extremely talented in crafts, knitting, crocheting, painting and making homemade organic jams. She sold her goods at local craft shows for many years. She also was an expert at authentic German cooking and baking, preparing items for the German Club, her family and friends as a gracious host in her home.
