Addiction took the life of Jack Davis Wittler on November 17, 2022. Jack, born September 25, 1990, did not die from an overdose, but rather from the pain, shame, and circumstances of over a decade fighting the demons of his addiction. Following five years of sobriety that could not erase his pain, Jack relapsed and ultimately ended his life. His family and friends will forever remember him for his fabulous sense of humor, his quick wit and his genius crypto currency knowledge. He was easy to talk to and enjoyed a good debate. He loved deeply and could be counted on to offer prayers and kindness to those in need. Jack was a graduate of Bedford High School as well as rehabilitation centers in Florida, Arizona, Michigan, Ohio, New Hampshire, and Maine. He tried desperately for a life of sobriety. To those who loved him, he was more than his addiction. He was the pulse of our family. We will miss him until we meet again.
He is survived by his parents Lori and Daniel Wittler, siblings Paige (Andy) Breed and Mitchell (Kaley) Wittler, two nieces who he adored, Audrey Wittler and Gwendolyn Breed, grandparents Joyce and Wayne Davis and Mary Lou and John Wittler, as well as aunts, uncles and cousins.
