Corey Michael Torres

Corey Michael Torres, age 45 of Toledo passed away Sunday, July 25, 2021 peacefully, surrounded by his children and loved ones. Corey was born on February 8, 1976 in Lamesa, TX to Carlos “Bob" and Virginia (Martinez) Torres. Corey enjoyed being surrounded by family more than anything and he loved his children. He also deeply enjoyed time with his siblings and nieces and nephews. One of his favorite things to do was have breakfast with his dad and he enjoyed their conversations in the mornings. Corey was the life of the party; he always had a story to tell and a joke to share. He was also a sports fanatic and loved his Packers (Go Pack!), Yankees, and Bulls! He was preceded in death by his nephew, “Baby Rocky”, Dominic Angel and is survived by his parents Carlos " Bob" and Virginia Torres, children Corey, Ciarra, and Mario Torres, siblings Bryan, Shannon, and Cliff. Shelly and Carrie Torres, and many nieces and nephews. Corey’s family will be receiving family and friends who wish to pay their respects in the Urbanski Funeral Home 2907 Lagrange St. Toledo, Ohio on Sunday August 1 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Monday August 2, 2021 at VIDA Church located at 2610 N. Erie St. at 11:00 a.m. followed by the burial in Woodlawn Cemetery.
