On Tuesday, October 11th, 2022, Chester Joseph Grochowski, loving partner, father of two, grandfather of one passed away at the age sixty-six. Chet graduated from Bedford High School (73’). Chet was a huge Michigan & Steelers fan. He also loved to talk politics with his sister Judy and talking sports with his brother-in-law Tom. Throughout his career he worked at Goodyear, O’Neal & Heidtman Steele, and PNS Express. Chet spent most of his time with his wife and grandson.
Surviving are, his wife, Lucinda (Cox) Grochowski, Daughter, Stephanie (Tim) Tull, Grandson Michael Jeffries. Sisters, Nancy Mossing, Judy Grochowski, Barbie (Dale) Tolson, Brother James (Pat) Broadway, Brother-In-Law Dave (Evelyn) Zink, Sister-In-Law Bobbi (Mark) McDonald, Father-In-Law Ray Cox, Lots of Nieces and Nephews & Great Nieces and Nephews.
He is Proceeded in death by his Daughter Bonnie Grochowski, Father & Mother Chester and Agnes (LaVoy) Grochowski, Marge Grochowski, Sisters Mary Grochowski, Debbie Zink, Mother-In-Law Wanda Cox, Bother-In-Laws Dave Mossing, Thomas Cox, Nephews Jacob Burnep & Zach Cox, and Niece Jessica Burnep.
Chet’s Life Celebration will be Thursday October 20th from 3pm -8pm at Urbanski Funeral Home a Life Celebration Home 5055 Secor Rd. Toledo. Visitation will continue Friday at Flanders Rd Church of Christ 5130 Flanders Rd. Toledo, OH, with visitation from 10am until the funeral starts at 11am.
