Geraldine Stella "NANA" Costin age 71 passed away suddenly as the result of a traffic accident on Thursday May 25, 2023 in Toledo, Ohio. She was born in Baltimore, MD on October 2, 1951 to Walter and Catherine (Szymanski) Kuchta. Geraldine had worked in retail sales for many years. She enjoyed playing Bingo, drinking her Diet Coke and her favorite color Purple. Taking custody of her daughters 4 children was something she was very proud of. Nana was known not to be a spitfire but a stick of dynamite, she enjoyed her kids and grandkids and was very proud of them all. She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Shannon Johnson, siblings Buzzy, Sissy, Joey, Kathy and Georgie. Nana is survived by her daughter Tina Mansfield and son Eric Costin, brother Jimmy Kuchta, sister Mae-Mae (Mark) Addicks, grandchildren Brittney (Justin) Johnson, Marcus, Isaiah, Skyler and David, also surviving are great grandchildren Alana and Jasiah. Niece Erica (Tim), great nieces Kaleena, Kaleeya, Kaleesianna, and Kaleese. Nephew/ personal mechanic Patrick. The family will be receiving friends in the Urbanski Funeral Home A Life Celebration Home 5055 Secor Rd Toledo, Ohio 43623 on Saturday June 3 from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.when the funeral services begin.
