Richard E. Connin age 76 of Toledo, Ohio passed away January 25, 2023 in Spring Meadows care facility. Richard was born November 14, 1946, in Toledo to Kenneth and Dorothy (Haffelder) Connin. A 1965 Whitmer High School graduate, he worked at Toledo Terminal Railroad and retired from CSX Railroad. He loved boating, was a member of Harborview Yacht Club and enjoyed showing his Classic Chevy Impala in car shows. Richard was a member of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows and enjoyed eating at Dennys and Bob Evens. A devoted son he cared for years for his blind mother. He was also a talented musician who could play the guitar and the organ.

Surviving are his brothers, Kenneth (Sylvia) Connin, Kevin Connin, David Connin, Donald Connin and Raymond Connin, sisters, Mary McNalley and Kathy Connin and many nieces, and nephews and great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Dolores Harrison and Tina Connin.

Memorial Services
Richard’s Life Celebration will begin Wednesday February 1, 2023, from 2 until 8 pm where a Rosary will be prayed at 7 pm in Urbanski Funeral Home a Life Celebration Home 5055 Secor Rd. Toledo, Ohio. Visitation will continue Thursday February 2, from 9:30 until the Funeral Mass begins at 10:30 in St. Clement Church 3030 Tremainsville Rd. Toledo, Ohio. Interment will follow in Toledo Memorial Park Sylvania, Ohio
