Kerry Susan Schmidt age 71 of Toledo, Ohio passed away unexpectedly May 30, 2022. Kerry was born January 2, 1951, in Toledo, Ohio to Edward and Dorothy (Urbanowski) Wasielewski. She attended St. Catherine Grade School and graduated from Start High School in 1969. Kerry loved her family. She was a loving wife mother and grandmother who believed in putting family first. Kerry defined “generosity” and was always giving to others in need.

Surviving are her husband of 42 years Richard Schmidt, children, Angela (Brian) McDonald, Valerie Wasielewski, Richard (Christine) Schmidt and Nicholas (Pallavi) Schmidt. Also surviving are her sisters Dee Mason and Donna (Greg) Litchfield, brother, Glenn (Norine) Wasielewski and 8 beloved grandchildren, Brian, Madison, Laney, Julian, Makayla, Lilly, Mallory and Ivy. Preceding her in death were her parents and sister Dale Lichtenwald.

Kerry’s Life Celebration will be Tuesday June 7, 2022, at Urbanski Funeral Home 5055 Secor Rd. Toledo, Ohio from 9 am until 10:30 am. Funeral services will begin at 11 am in Blessed Sacrament Church 2240 Castlewood Drive, Toledo, Ohio 43623. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery Toledo.

Memorial Services
