Paul Thomas 'Dadad" Filby
November/4/1941 - February/13/2022

Paul Thomas “Dadad” Filby age 80 of Toledo passed away Sunday February 13, 2022 in Flower Hospital. Paul was born in Bellefontaine, Ohio on November 4, 1941 to Ray and Mary (Abbott) Filby. He was a retired 30-year employee of the former Dohler-Jarvis plant. Paul was a little spunky, stubborn and maybe somewhat ornery but very loving man. He was a gun enthusiast and loved the looks of vintage cars. Paul was a daily customer with his Waffle House coffee group and enjoyed feeding his “pet” squirrels. Most of all Paul was a family man that would do anything for you and the biggest supporter of his grandkids. He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter in law Roxanne, and brothers Jack, Bill, Robert and George. Paul is survived by his wife of 60 years Rita (McCormick), children Paula Pheils and Craig Filby, grandchildren Brian (Angela) Filby, Kristin Filby, Eric Filby, Dylan Pheils and Molly Pheils and great granddaughter Millicent Filby. Also surviving is his best fur friend “Reggie” Paul's Life Celebration will begin on Sunday February 20, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in the Urbanski Funeral Home 5055 Secor Rd Toledo, Ohio where funeral services will be on Monday February 21, 2022 at 10:30 am followed by burial in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.

Memorial Services
Paul's Life Celebration will begin on Sunday February 20, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in the Urbanski Funeral Home 5055 Secor Rd Toledo, Ohio where funeral services will be on Monday February 21, 2022 at 10:30 am followed by burial in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
