Lucinda E. McElroy, age 82 of Holland, Ohio, formerly of Petersburg, MI died January 1, 2022 at home surrounded by her loving children. Lucinda was born September 15, 1939 in Petersburg, MI to John and Ida (VanBuskirk) McKeever. One of 11 children she married Charles McElroy in 1960. Cindy was a caregiver most of her life, caring for her family then others in their home, as well as her grandchildren and all of their friends. She was lovingly referred to as “Gram” by several young adults who are lucky to have had her in their lives.

Surviving are her children Ann (Duncan) Goddard of Maryville, TN, Laurie (Brian) Beck of Holland, OH and Alan (Patty) McElroy of Maryville, TN, and sister Kathleen (Herald) Gorr of Petersburg, MI. Also surviving are 5 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Preceding her in death were her parents, husband, Charles and 9 siblings.

Memorial Services
Lucinda’s Life Celebration will be Tuesday January 4, 2022 from 5 – 8pm at Urbanski Funeral Home 5055 Secor Rd. Toledo, Ohio.
