Carol R. Wingate, age 83 of Toledo, passed from this life to an eternal life of joy and peace with no more pain or tears December 22, 2021. She is home at last with her Heavenly Father and all her loved ones who have gone before her. She leaves behind a legacy of children, grandchildren and great grandchildren that will continue for generations to come. Carol was born February 4, 1938 in Toledo, OH to Herbert and Ruth (Dorr) Moore. She attended Bedford High School and married Paul Wingate April 15, 1955. A devoted member of Compelled Church in Temperance, MI, she loved Christ and others with all that she had and was.

Surviving are her beloved children, Beverly (John) Rank, Juanita Cornwell, Sharon (Mark) Erdmann, Carolyn (Daniel) Donnelly, Paul (Debbie) Wingate, Jeanette (Tom) Miller, Becky (Keith) Blosser, Phillip (Denise) Wingate and David Wingate. Also surviving are brothers Herbert Moore, Wilbur Moore and Clifford (Jan) Moore along with 41 grandchildren and 45 great grandchildren. Preceding her in death were her husband Paul, daughter Lois Courts, daughters in law Sheryl and Kris and grandkids Josh, Ann and Kellyn.

Memorial Services
Carol’s life celebration will be held Tuesday December 28, 2021 from 3-8 pm at Urbanski Funeral Home a Life Celebration Home 5055 Secor Rd. Toledo, Ohio. Visitation will continue Wednesday December 29 from 9-10 am in the funeral home where the funeral service will begin at 10 am. Interment will follow in Whiteford Union Cemetery, Lambertville, MI.Those wishing to attend Carol's funeral remotely may do so by logging onto:
