Thomas R. Nawrocki

Thomas R. Nawrocki, age 70 of Toledo, died Tuesday, November 23, 2021 in his home. He was born September 19, 1951 to Victor and Agnes (Kochczynski) Nawrocki in Seattle, WA. As a young child, Tom and his family relocated to the Polish Village of North Toledo where they attended St. Hedwig Catholic Church. After his graduation from Central Catholic High School in 1969, he earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Toledo where he was a member of the Gamma Eta Chapter of Alpha Kappa Psi .
As a father, Tom put family first, attending his children’s cross-country and gymnastics competitions. His children will always cherish their memories of their sweet, kind, and helpful dad who would routinely lighten their day with a joke or pun from a Mel Brooks or Monty Python movie.
Tom spent much of his working life working for The Anderson’s General Store, retiring after 28 years when the store closed in 2017. He was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Toledo.
Tom is survived by his son, Daniel Nawrocki, daughter, Emily Nawrocki, and siblings Charles and Mary. He was preceded in death by both parents.

Memorial Services
Tom’s Life Celebration will take place on Friday, December 3, 2021 from 2 until 8 p.m. in Urbanski Funeral Home, A Life Celebration Home, 5055 Secor Road, Toledo. Additional visitation will take place on Saturday, December 4, 2021 in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church from noon until Mass begins at 1 p.m.
