Theresa Rose Smith age 90 of Toledo passed away August 20, 2021 at home. Theresa was born in Toledo August 27, 1930 to John and Laura (Wysocki) Zak. After graduating from St. Hedwig School and Central Catholic High School she married Donald Smith August 18, 1951 in St. Hedwig Church. Her family was her life. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great grandmother who enjoyed caring for the children of the family. She was a devout Catholic woman who liked praying the Rosary and attending Mass daily. Her favorite times of the year were Christmas and Easter when her large family would celebrate together.
Surviving are her loving children, Laurene (Steve) Perzynski, Lynn Lefevre, Donna (Michael) Glonek, Beth (Dave) Hunter and JoAnn (Tim) Hafner, sister, Christine Wiezbenski, brother Ronald (Veronica) Zak along with 17 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren.

Memorial Services
Theresa’s Life Celebration will be Tuesday August 24, from 3 pm until 8 pm with a Prayer Service at 5:30 pm with Monsignor Michael Billian officiating at Urbanski Funeral Home a Life Celebration Home 5055 Secor Rd. Toledo, Ohio. Interment will be Wednesday at 12:30 pm in Mt. Carmel Cemetery Toledo, Ohio. The family prefers contributions to be made in her name to Helping Hands of St. Louis 443 Sixth St. Toledo, Ohio 43605 or to Hospice of Northwest Ohio 30000 East River Rd. Perrysburg, Ohio 43551.
