Martha "Marty" Rygalski

Martha “Marty” Rygalski, age 92, died in her home Friday, July 9, 2021. She was born on August 21, 1928 to Frank and Helen (Gralak) Bogdanski Sr. She was married to Joe Rygalski Jr. on October 24, 1951. During the last years of her life, Marty was lovingly cared for in the home of her former daughter in law, Renee Rygalski. They were a traveling duo, making numerous trips to Las Vegas, where Marty enjoyed gambling, bowling and seeing the sights. They also made many trips around the United States to attend Conventions for the Catholic War Veterans Auxiliary, which Marty was a member of Post #1675 since 1978.

Marty is survived by her son Dave (Lisa) Rygalski, granddaughters Sandy (Shane) Greenich, Jamie (Andy Leitner) Rygalski, great grandchildren Rusty and Shainna Greenich, Renee Rygalski, her best friend Alice Zielazny, nieces and nephews, and sister Pat Snyder. Marty has joined her parents, husband, brothers Frank (Joan) Jr, Walter (Sue), Charles (Joyce), and Paul (Jody), and sister Ruth (Robert) Holt Sr.

Martha’s Life Celebration will be Wednesday July 14, from 2-8 p.m. where a Rosary will be prayed by the Catholic War Veterans Ladies Auxiliary at 7 p.m. in Urbanski Funeral Home a Life Celebration Home 5055 Secor Rd. Toledo, Ohio. Visitation will continue Thursday at 10 a.m. in Regina Coeli Church 530 Regina Parkway Toledo, Ohio 43612, where the Funeral Mass will begin at 11 a.m. with Fr. George Mahas presiding. Interment will follow in Mt. Carmel Catholic Cemetery, Toledo.
