Teresa C. Hughes, age 79, a long time Point Place resident, passed away Thursday April 29, 2021 in Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Toledo. Teresa was born December 10, 1941 in Toledo, Ohio to John and Genevieve (Bogdanski) Olender. A 1959 graduate of Woodward High School, Teresa married Jerry Hughes October 12, 1963. She enjoyed fishing, bowling, golf and was a talented calligrapher. A strong Polish woman she loved her church, her family and especially her granddaughter Ava.

Surviving are her son, Steven (Marla) Hughes, sister, Connie (Tom) Owczarzak, brother, Lenny (Connie) Olender and her granddaughter Ava. Also surviving are her other beloved relatives and friends. Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband Jerry and niece Michelle Olender.

Memorial Services
Friends and family may gather Tuesday May 4, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. until 12:15 a.m. at Urbanski Funeral Home a Life Celebration Home 5055 Secor Rd. Toledo. Her Funeral Mass will begin at 1:00 p.m. in Regina Coeli Catholic Church 530 Regina Pkwy, Toledo, Ohio. Interment will follow in Mt. Carmel Catholic Cemetery.
