Belle Mae Bell, December 5, 1936 - March 15, 2021

Belle Mae Bell, 84 and a longtime resident of Toledo, Ohio departed this life on March 15, 2021 at home. Belle was born December 5, 1936 in Whitethorn, VA to Elliott and Viola (Jones) Stewart. She received two degrees from the University of Toledo and worked for the City of Toledo as a draftsman at the Plan Commission and as a supervisor at the Collins Park water treatment plant retiring after 34 years of service.

Belle is an example of a life well lived with enthusiasm and a sense of adventure. Her interests were broad and varied and she often followed a nontraditional path. She loved travel, animals, auto racing, fishing, lighthouses, gardening and dancing. She truly had a zest for life. One of her fondest moments is when at age 78, she met her racing hero Kasey Kahne.

Surviving are her son James Robert Bell, sister, Reva Stewart and brothers Eliott and Chester Stewart. Also surviving are good friends Terry and Jim Wrozek. Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband Robert Bell and two sisters Shelly Stewart and Rochelle Stewart.

Memorial Services
Belle’s Life Celebration will be Sunday April 11, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at Urbanski Funeral Home a Life Celebration Home 5055 Secor Rd. Toledo, Ohio where funeral services will be at 4:00 p.m. with Pastor Tim Rabara officiating. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Parkinson’s Foundation.
