Cindy Jo Vasquez, 58 years, passed away Dec/14/2020 at home while being cared for by her loving family after a long battle with cancer. Cindy was born in Toledo OH on January 27, 1962 to Joe and Irene Barnes. Cindy was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed helping others, playing bingo and spending time visiting with her children and grand children. She had worked as a Sales Associate and volunteered at the church she was married at for many years, Wesley United Methodist Church. Cindy will be missed by all that knew and loved her. Cindy is survived by her loving husband, Alphonso Vasquez of 42 years. Also surviving are her children Valarie (Lonnie) Talley of Columbus, OH, Alphonso (Amanda) Vasquez II of Fremont, IN and Stephanie Vasquez of Toledo, OH. Cindy is survived by her brother, Joe Barnes Jr. sister, Dawn Barnes, of Toledo and 13 loving grand children. Cindy is preceded in death by her parents Joe and Irene Barnes; Sister, Irene Bricker of Fort Wayne IN.; Brothers Paul Barnes, Charles Pfaff and David Pfaff, all of Toledo. The family will be receiving friends in the Urbanski Funeral Home 5055 Secor Rd Toledo, Ohio on Tuesday December 22, 2020 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. when funeral services will begin.
The family would like to give thanks to all the Doctors and Nurses From Mercy Health - St. Anne Cancer Center on West Sylvania Avenue, Mercy Health — Perrysburg Radiation Oncology on Eckel Junction Rd. for giving Cindy the extra years to spend with her family, Hospice of Northwest Ohio and all the friends and family that were their to support her.

The family will be receiving friends in the Urbanski Funeral Home 5055 Secor Rd Toledo, Ohio on Tuesday December 22, 2020 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. when funeral services will begin.
