Chanita Bais-Banda age 71 of Toledo, Ohio passed away Thursday June 11, 2020 in St. Vincent Hospital. Chanita was born in Sandusky, Ohio on September 20, 1948 to Margarito and Petra (Diaz) Bais. She had formerly worked as a state food inspector and was a very successful Tupperware salesperson. Chanita loved to shop and sometimes she bought more than one of each item, or her family calls it being a "clean hoarder". She enjoyed her breakfast out with Art every day. Chanita was all about her money, she enjoyed shopping at garage sales , gambling at the casinos and was always looking for a great game of Bingo.

As the strong foundation for her family she always enjoyed holidays with them, and they loved her Mexican rice and Tamales. Chanita was preceded in death by her parents, son, Anthony "Tony" Torres and son in law Jose Moya Sr. She is survived and will be missed by her husband Arturo, children Theresa Moya, Rachel Torres, Rudy Torres Jr, Florentino (Elsa) Torres, Helenia (Andrew) Sanchez, Marques (Christy) Torres and Monica Torres, several grandchildren and great grandchildren, and brothers Margarito Bais Jr and Alfredo Bais. The family will be receiving friends in the Urbanski Funeral Home a Life Celebration Home 2907 Lagrange St Toledo, Ohio on Thursday from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. She will be cremated, and her burial will be at a later date.
