Chester T. Przybysz

Chester T. Przybysz, age 81, of the Polish Village, passed away November 18, 2019 surrounded by his loving family at The Waterford at Levis Commons Perrysburg, OH. Chet was born August 31, 1938 in Toledo, to Chester M. and Irene (Benach) Przybysz. A 1956 graduate of Woodward High School, he worked over 41 years as a service man for Columbia Gas of Ohio, until retiring in 1998. He was a member of the Catholic War Veteran’s Post 1675, The Polish Falcons Post 92, the Polish National Alliance Lodge 520, The Knights of Columbus St. Lawrence Council, The Commodore Club and the Ohio Theatre. Chet was a great father and grandfather and loved his family. He was very committed to his neighborhood and every organization he belonged to. Chet was one of those people who left a lasting impression with those who met him.

Surviving are his children, Stephen (Dawn) Przybysz, Corinne (Mark) Albright and Cheryl Horn; 4 grandchildren, Stephen Jr., Marcus, Nicole and Aaron; 7 great grandchildren, Savannah, Isabella, Leeah, Nadine, Matthew Camila and Ian; and nephew, Martin (Connie) Przybysz. Preceding him in death were his parents; son, Chester T. Przybysz Jr.; daughter Catherine Przybysz Young; brothers, George, and James.

Visitation will begin Thursday November 21, 2019 from 2 until 8 p.m. at the Urbanski Funeral Home, a Life Celebration Home, 5055 Secor Rd. Toledo, OH 419-475-5055. The Visitation will continue Friday November 22, 2019 from 10 a.m. until 11a.m. in St Adalbert Catholic Church where the Funeral Mass will begin at 11 a.m. with Fr. Thomas Extejt presiding. The interment will follow in Mt. Carmel Catholic Cemetery.
