Linda Marie (Przybysz) Deeb
February/13/1952 - January/24/2019

Linda Marie (Przybysz) Deeb, age 66 of Toledo, passed away in her home Thursday, January 24, 2019 surrounded by her loving family, following a courageous battle with cancer. Born February 13, 1952, she was the daughter of Frank and Patricia (Pluciniczak) Przybysz. She was raised on Bronson Street, across from her family church, St. Hedwig Catholic Church and was a proud graduate of Woodward High School, class of 1970. On November 9, 1972, she married her high school sweetheart, the love of her life and devoted companion, Ray Deeb. They raised three wonderful children, Angalene, Amanda and Joseph.
Linda graduated from Lourdes College with an associate degree in early childhood development. Her career as an early childhood development specialist spanned 30 years, first with Lourdes-St. Vincent, and then with the YMCA at St. Charles Early Childhood Development Center in Oregon, Ohio. She understood that a love of all children, sometime those less fortunate, was necessary in creating a self-assured and confident young individual.
Other than their employment, Linda and Ray’s time involved family. They enjoyed time with family on their boat, with an occasional venture to Put-In-Bay for several days. She truly enjoyed traveling with the kids to visit Ray’s family in New England. Linda loved cooking, both Polish and Lebanese dishes that she wonderfully prepared for Sunday family dinners. This endeavor, which she choreographed with children and grandchildren, generally began early Sunday mornings. Her pride was teaching these skills and knowing that she was passing down family heritage.
Throughout Linda’s life, she and Ray were devoted to their children and grandchildren. Their home was always open to family, and they thrived on the energy of youth around them. They instilled strong values of caring, love and responsibility. They were proponents of the importance of strong family ties and customs, a testament to Linda and Ray’s family commitment.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her loving husband, Ray; daughter, Angalene Marie Deeb (Jason Eccleson), grandchildren Dante and Abigail; daughter, Amanda Marie (Eric) Logan, grandchildren, Jacob and Emma; and son Joseph Francis Deeb (Melisa Dubendorfer). She is also survived by brothers Dale (Marcia) and Frank (Denise) Przybysz and several nieces and nephews.
