Obituaries - In Loving Memory

Judith J. Weber
August/4/1940 - November/27/2017

Judith “Judy” (LaJeunesse) Weber was a vibrant and feisty woman. She was born August 4, 1940 and was one of seven siblings. She married the love of her life, Bill, in 1962. They were the perfect pair, complementary in every way. He loved her fiercely and she loved him back with the same intensity. Together they raised three daughters and built a life full of beautiful, and often hilarious, memories. Judy devoted herself to her role as a homemaker and cared deeply for her family and beloved husband until his death in 2009.
Judy was incredibly talented and her projects were never-ending. From sewing to quilt making, she spent hours crafting beautiful, tangible works of art. Judy was also an avid reader and took pride in instilling her love of books in her children, grandchildren, and even great-grandchildren. She was a dog lover that enjoyed puzzles, gardening, and NASCAR. Strong and empathetic, she was always willing to lend an ear or a helping hand. She was a practical and grounded woman, organized, endlessly thoughtful, and so beautiful. She was a loving friend, a trusted confidant, and selfless nearly to a fault. Judy was truly special and it’s no surprise that she was cherished by many.
Her last breaths were taken on November 27, 2017. It was a gorgeous and sunny fall morning. The kind of unseasonably warm day that Judy appreciated. She passed away peacefully, surrounded by the love of her family at Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents, husband William, daughter Cynthia House, sisters Eleanor “Nor” Hellrung and Janet Spalding and brother Timothy LaJeunesse. She is survived by her daughters Julie Stone and Michele (John) Pfeffer, son in law Charles House, brothers Joseph (Doris) and Thomas (Deb) LaJeunesse, sister Ellen (Jerry) King, grandchildren Alexandra (Jacob) Luning, Sabrina and Desiree Stone, Candace House, John and Luke Pfeffer, as well as 4 great grandchildren. Many nieces, nephews, and friends also survive her.
